When my spouse came home from work one evening, I shared with him the new funny songs our daughter was singing lately, that she learned from the new daycare she was attending. One song was “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.” So, we decided to try to sing it with her that evening. Now that we knew she was trying to sing that particular song, we could decipher her words and what she was saying. At the end of the song, we clapped and showed her how proud of her we were. I think she may major in music when she gets older, but I may just be a biased mother.
