This year, my daughter was on the prom committee at her high school. and let me tell you, after seeing her head up the committee that put on one of the most memorable proms in the last ten years, I think she may have a future as a party planner. For example, she found all sorts of ways to creatively cut the budget, like recruiting the AV club to learn DJ mixing. She did that with all of the groups in the high school, bringing them into the planning and making everyone a part of the event. She is a born leader, that is for sure!
