Morbid Much Entertaining Blog

Ever since she was a little girl my daughter was a dreamer.  She was constantly making up stories and acting them out with her dolls and toy animals. I knew that she was more than just a bit fascinated with the figurines of people and animals in my Royal Doulton Collection but I told her to never touch them as they were not toys. I have pieces that I have had handed down to me from my grand mother, pieces that I have purchased and several that were given to me by my late husband. I remember the day that my daughter, unable to restrain herself, had opened one of my glass cabinets to play with one of my favorite “ladies”. She dropped it and broke it.  Although I was upset the feeling passed but I know that it bothered her for years.
