Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction

There’s lots of ligaments and tendons that are important with regard to holding up the mid-foot from the feet. Among the key one is called the posterior tibial muscle. This is a muscle within the leg which has a tendon which passes down the medial side of the ankle joint and it’s action would be to hold up the mid-foot of the foot. There exists a dysfunction named posterior tibial tendon dysfunction that is a trouble with exactly how well the posterior tibial muscle can do its action. Whenever it stops doing its job properly, a progressive flat feet evolves because the additional structures are not able to keeping up the actual mid-foot independently.
